Description
Charming and stylized animated cartoon tiger 3D model (with fur) designed for high-quality close-up renders, video production, and animation pipelines. Modeled to an accurate real-world scale (metric, meters) with logically organized object hierarchies, this asset provides a seamless, conflict-free drop-in experience for your production scenes.
100% Handcrafted & Animation-Ready Topology
Zero AI generation was used in the creation of this asset. Every polygon was meticulously placed by hand to ensure a clean, highly optimized mesh with accurate, animation-ready edge loops tailored for flawless deformation. The mesh is fully optimized for polygon efficiency. For offline rendering and extreme close-ups, the model is subdivision-ready (compatible with the 3ds Max MeshSmooth function), allowing for effortless increases in geometry detail.
Stylized Fur System
To achieve an elevated level of visual fidelity, this specific variation of the cartoon tiger features a dedicated 3D fur system. This adds a soft, tactile layer of detail that beautifully complements the stylized anatomy, complete with a dedicated Fur Tip texture map to perfectly control the fur's color blending. This makes the model absolutely perfect for high-end rendering and extreme close-up animated shots.
Rigging & Animation Details (CAT)
This model is equipped with a robust, production-friendly rig designed for flexible animation workflows. Rigging and animation were completed using the 3ds Max CAT system (NTSC, 30 FPS):
- Absolute (Abs) Poses: T-Pose and Signature Image pose.
- CATMotion Layers: Includes ready-to-use Walk (frames 01-48) and Run (frames 01-48) cycles accessible via the CATMotion Editor.
- Local (+L) Adjustments: Walk Adjustment, Run Adjustment, Mouth Closed, and Eyes Closed.
Pro Tip: The walk and run cycles have their own dedicated adjustment layers. To ensure pristine animation playback, simply enable or disable the specific adjustment layer that corresponds to the movement cycle you are currently using.
Texture Suite (2K Resolution)
The model comes fully textured with all materials pre-applied. Maps are provided in high-resolution PNG format for clear, vibrant rendering across all surfaces:
- Body & Fur: Diffuse (2048×2048), Diffuse Fur Tip (2048×2048), Specular (2048×2048)
- Facial Details: Eyes Diffuse (2048×2048), Mouth Diffuse (2048×2048)
Important Notes for Buyers
- Render & Engine Setup: Native scenes were created in 3ds Max 2016 and rendered with Mental Ray. The included compressed archive conveniently contains both mental ray and standard material scenes. No special plug-ins are required.
- Workflow & Selection: Objects are logically grouped and named so there is no part-name confusion or scene cleanup required—simply drop the model into your scene and start rendering.
- Model Variations: This is the fully rigged and animated standard cartoon tiger featuring a 3D fur system. Static, non-fur, and white color variations are available separately in our store.
