Description
Realistic static black Dachshund (sausage/wiener dog) 3D model built for high-end close-up renders, video production, and VFX. Fully textured with a complete PBR workflow, this asset delivers exceptional realism. Modeled to an accurate real-world scale (metric, centimeters) with logically organized object hierarchies (separate body, teeth, eyes, and paw pads), ensuring a seamless, conflict-free drop-in experience for your production pipelines.
100% Handcrafted & Animation-Ready Topology
Zero AI generation was used in the creation of this asset. Every polygon was meticulously placed by hand to ensure strict, quad-only geometry (~9.5k low-poly base mesh) with accurate, animation-ready edge loops. Even though this is currently a static model, its pristine topology guarantees flawless deformation should you choose to rig it for your project later. The mesh is optimized for polygon efficiency and is subdivision-ready, allowing for effortless increases in geometry resolution for extreme close-ups.
Coat & Groomed Fur System
To achieve the highest level of visual fidelity, this Dachshund features a dense, realistic groomed fur coat styled using nine separate hair-growth objects. Each growth object sits on its own dedicated layer, allowing you to easily enable or disable them at any time to improve viewport performance. Pro Tip: For much smoother viewport playback if you choose to animate the mesh, hide the hair and fur layers to maximize software performance.
PBR Texture Suite
The model features a high-quality PBR material setup with physically based maps that are fully applied and ready for rendering. All colors and materials have been engineered to be easily modifiable, allowing you to quickly adapt the asset to your specific art direction. Objects are logically named and grouped so no additional clean-up is required—simply drop the model into your scene and start rendering.
Important Notes for Buyers
- Render & Engine Setup: Native, ready-to-render scenes are provided (preview images were rendered using Arnold). Preview lighting environments and HDRIs used in the renders are included within the native scenes. No special plug-ins are required to open the file.
- Exchange Formats: Exported formats include FBX, OBJ, and Collada (DAE), ensuring smooth integration into other apps and pipelines. All hair guides are included in the native 3ds Max files and are also exported separately to FBX format.
- Model Variations: This is the static, unrigged black Dachshund featuring a dense groomed fur system. Rigged, animated, and simplified fur variations are available separately in our store.
