Animated Amur Tiger 3D Model with Hair and Fur
This animated Amur tiger 3D model — also known as the Siberian tiger — has a groomed 3ds Max Hair and Fur coat and comes fully rigged with CAT, animated with 48-frame walk and run cycles. Detailed enough for close-up renders and video production. Native Arnold scene, with a legacy Mental Ray version included.
Hair and Fur
- Coat groomed with the native 3ds Max Hair and Fur modifier — no plug-ins required.
- Hair guide splines included in every max file, and exported separately to FBX so you can transfer or rebuild the groom in your own pipeline.
- Hair primitive count can be increased for higher render quality, limited only by your machine's memory.
- Built for offline rendering; the base mesh, textures, and rig export to FBX and OBJ.
Rigging and Animation
Rigged with CAT objects; animation built with CATMotion and animation layers at 30 fps.
- Walk cycle (frames 1–48) and run cycle (frames 1–48).
- World and local adjustment layers for the walk, plus a world adjustment layer for the run.
- Extra layers: Ear Motion, Mouth Closed, and Eyes Closed.
- Absolute poses: Standard and Attack.
- To activate: select any bone, then Motion → Layer Manager, and choose the WalkAndRun layer.
Textures (4K)
- Body: 4K diffuse, plus 4K clumped-hair and 2K hair-cut maps.
- Mouth: 4K diffuse and bump; 1K normal.
- Nails: 4K.
- Delivered as JPG and PNG; all materials applied and mapped in every format.
What's Included
- Body, teeth, eyes, and claws modelled separately for easy material assignment.
- Subdivision-ready quad mesh — MeshSmooth for higher-resolution renders.
