Description
Realistic static Siberian (Amur) tiger 3D model featuring a realistic fur system and two distinct color variations, designed for high-quality close-up renders and VFX projects. Accurately scaled to represent the real animal with logically organized object hierarchies (featuring separated body, teeth, eyes, and claws), this asset ensures a seamless, conflict-free drop-in experience for your production scenes. Objects are cleanly contained within a dedicated layer structure matching the product name.
100% Handcrafted & Animation-Ready Topology
Zero AI generation was used in the creation of this asset. Every polygon was meticulously placed by hand to ensure a clean, highly optimized mesh. Even though this is currently a static model, its pristine topology guarantees smooth deformation should you choose to rig it for your project later. For high-resolution offline rendering and extreme close-ups, the mesh is subdivision-ready (compatible with the 3ds Max MeshSmooth function), allowing for effortless increases in geometry detail.
Realistic 3D Hair & Fur System
To achieve an elevated level of visual fidelity, this tiger features a dedicated fur system created with the 3ds Max Hair and Fur Modifier. Rendering options are fully optimized for the Hair buffer and Hair mr prim. For unparalleled render quality, you can easily increase the hair count up to your machine's memory limit. Bonus: Hair Guide Splines are included directly in the 3ds Max file and are also exported as a separate FBX file for maximum pipeline flexibility.
Dual-Color Material Setup (Natural & White)
This model gives you total control over the tiger's coat. The color is controlled via a composite shader within the diffuse channel of the main material. By default, the natural orange color is applied, but by simply adjusting the opacity (or toggling layer visibility) within the composite shader, you can instantly switch to the white tiger variation. You can even mix the values of both layers to achieve unique, natural-looking blended results!
Texture Suite (Up to 4K Resolution)
High-resolution maps (JPG and PNG) are provided to ensure crisp, vibrant rendering across all surfaces and fine anatomical details:
- Body (Natural & White): Tiger_UVs (4096×4096), Tiger_White_UVs (4096×4096)
- Mouth Interior: mouth (4096×4096)
- Claws: Nails_UVs (4096×4096)
- Eyes: eyes (1024×1024), eyes_UVs (1024×1024)
Important Notes for Buyers
- Render & Engine Setup: Originally modeled in 3ds Max 2012 and migrated to 3ds Max 2014, with final images rendered using mental ray. No special plug-ins are required to open the scene.
- Workflow & Selection: Objects are logically grouped and named so there is no part-name confusion or scene cleanup required—simply drop the model into your scene and start rendering.
- Model Variations: This is a static, unrigged tiger model featuring a fur system and dual-color shader. Fully animated and rigged versions are available separately in our store.
